Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Remlore (the “app”, “we”, “us”), available on Android, iOS and the web at remlore.com, handles information. Remlore is operated by an individual entrepreneur registered in Georgia. Contact: info@remlore.com.
1. Information you give us
- Dream descriptions, plus the optional mood and “what's going on in your life” note you add. These are sent to our server when you request a reading and forwarded to our AI provider to generate it. We do not store the text on our servers once the reading has been returned.
- Image prompts. When you ask Remlore to paint a dream, a short scene description (generated from your reading, without your name) is sent to our image provider. The resulting picture is stored on our server for up to 90 days so your app can download it, then deleted. The mobile app keeps its own copy on your device.
- Voice input. If you dictate a dream, speech is converted to text by your device's built-in speech-recognition service (Google on Android, Apple on iOS, your browser on the web) under that provider's own privacy terms. Remlore receives only the resulting text.
2. Information collected automatically
- A random device ID created by the app on first launch. It is not linked to your name, email or phone number. We use it to count how many free readings and paintings you have used and to check whether you have Premium.
- A usage ledger: for each reading, painting or pattern report we record the device ID, the type of request, the time and the number of AI tokens used. It never contains your dream text.
- IP address, held briefly in memory to prevent abuse (rate limiting), and in standard web-server logs that are rotated automatically.
3. What stays on your device
Your journal — dream texts, readings, paintings, settings and reminder time — is stored locally on your device. If you delete a dream or uninstall the app, that data is removed from the device. We cannot recover it for you.
4. Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store; we never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to confirm whether your device ID has an active subscription. RevenueCat receives the device ID and purchase receipts, but no dream content.
5. Service providers
- Anthropic (Claude) — generates dream readings and pattern reports from the text you submit.
- Replicate — generates dream paintings from a scene description.
- RevenueCat — subscription status.
- Google Play / Apple App Store — app distribution and payments.
- Hosting and network providers that run our servers and protect them from attacks.
These providers process data on our behalf and under their own security and privacy commitments. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, the dream text we send is not used to train its models.
6. How we use information
- To provide readings, paintings and pattern reports.
- To apply free-tier limits, verify subscriptions and prevent abuse.
- To keep the service secure and working.
We do not use your dreams for advertising, we do not sell personal data, and we do not build profiles about you.
7. Retention
- Dream text: not stored on our servers after the reading is returned.
- Dream paintings: deleted from our server after 90 days.
- Usage ledger: kept for up to 24 months for billing, limits and abuse prevention.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to processing. Because we hold almost nothing about you, most of your data is under your direct control in the app. To delete the usage records linked to your device ID, email info@remlore.com with the Device ID shown in the app under Settings → Privacy. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Children
Remlore is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a minor has used Remlore, contact us and we will delete the related usage records.
10. Security
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to our servers is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we keep what we hold to a minimum.
11. International transfers
Our servers and service providers may be located outside your country, including in the European Union and the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
12. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will let you know in the app.
